Working backwards is sometimes the easier thing to do, but sometimes it just doesn’t make sense. You can un-puzzle a puzzle, thats a ton of fun but it doesn’t make sense unless you’re Destructo/wo/man. I made that up.

remember Geocities? I used to have a page, and an Angelfire page, and a Gurlpages page, and I had that running neko-cat marquee. Don’t worry I wont bring that back, just deciding to wallow in my desperation.

I’m working backwards in art, too. I never went to artschool unless you count the time I was 7 years old and went to “art school” where my job was to desecrate a forest worth of chartpaper with smellyfelts. I’m going to artschool soon, to finally learn the tools of my trade. 4 years of university taught me that note-taking isn’t neaRLY as pretty as doodling, but it’s not an art basis I can fall back on. I’m learning everything as I go and the humility is heartbreaking (Sorry, what’s ‘vector’ ?)
